-1/4 c sugar
-1/4 c flour
-2 and 1/2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
-1/4 tsp baking powder
-A dash of salt
-A dash of espresso powder, or instant coffee, or regular coffee (optional)
-2 Tbsp Chocolate chips
-4 Tbsp Cannacoconut oil
-4 Tbsp almond milk
-1/4 tsp vanilla
-2 large oranges, cut top off & scoop out fruit (eat or make juice, don't waste the vitamin C!)
-Marshmallows (optional, but since you've already got the fire going you def should)
1. Prep before leaving the house: You'll need tin foil, tongs for adjusting the cake on the fire, a knife and a spoon. Mix together all the dry ingredients in a plastic bag and shake to combine. In a separate container, mix together the wet ingredients. Pack supplies and ingredients, including the oranges.
2. Cut tops off oranges, and save the tops. Scoop out the fruit to carefully form a little bowl, making sure to not break through the orange peel.
3. Shake up wet ingredients to combine. Add in wet ingredients to bag of dry ingredients and mix together. Pour ingredients into orange peel bowls, fill about ½ to ¾ of the way full. Put the orange peel top back on and wrap with tin foil.
4. Place in the embers of a fire, make sure to keep away from the direct flame. It can be a little tricky to get a good bake on a campfire, so make sure to adjust the embers and the cake position as needed. Bake for 35-45 min.
