Cannabis Bourbon Pecan Pie

  • pie crust dough for 9 inch pie pan
  • 5 tbsp cannabutter
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • ¾ c light corn syrup
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 c chopped toasted pecans
  • 1-2 tbsp bourbon (optional)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs, beaten

  1. Preheat oven to 350℉ and put a baking sheet on the lower oven rack.
  2. In a saucepan combine the butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, and let boil for about 1 minute.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in nuts, bourbon, and vanilla. Set the mixture aside and let cool slightly, for about 10 minutes. While it’s cooling, to put the pie crust in the oven to cook slightly before adding the filling.
  4. After 10 min, whisk the eggs into the pecan mixture until smooth. Remove the pie crust from the oven and pour in the filling. Put back in the oven and cook for 40-45min. If the edges start getting dark, cover them with aluminum foil halfway through.
  5. Let cool on a rack for 20 min before serving.
