Cannabis Lentil Curry


  • 10oz packet uncooked lentils
  • 1 can unsweetened coconut milk
  • 4 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp cannabis olive oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped peeled fresh ginger
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp  curry
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp coriander power
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 cup water


  1. Soak lentils in water overnight.
  2. In a large pot saute onion with cannabis oil over medium-low heat for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally until the edges become golden
  3. Add ginger and garlic, saute for 1 minute
  4. Add cumin, coriander, turmeric/curry, salt and pepper, stir for 2–3 minutes
  5. Add water, lentils, and coconut milk
  6. Cover and allow to simmer for 10 minutes. Uncover and continue cooking at a simmer for another 10 minutes  or until excess liquid has evaporated, stirring occasionally.
    Add salt and pepper for taste
  7. Serve hot with baked or mashed sweet potato. Season mashed sweet potato with 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp cumin, a dash of nutmeg, and a touch of maple syrup for the perfect pairing.
